Team Cowboy Makes Friends and a Couple Good Catches in Bentonville at Arkansas State Championships

BENTONVILLE, Arkansas (June 26, 2011)--Team Cowboy traveled to the Northwest Arkansas area to compete in the 2nd annual Arkansas Disc Dog Championships held June 25 and 26, 2011.  Despite a disappointing string of missed catches during an epic battle with the wind, Team Cowboy did pickup one gold medal in the men's novice division long distance toss and catch event.  While at the event, Team Cowboy was very fortunate to meet several teams that had traveled to the event from Kansas City, St. Louis, Hot Springs, and other far away cities.  "We enjoyed watching and learning from some of the best teams in this part of the United States," said Marc, Cowboy's human handler.  Team Cowboy sent out a special thanks to their new friends from Camp Bow Wow in Bentonville for sharing a couple great shots of Cowboy while on the field.
