The weather did not look to good when we arrived in Colorado, but after driving through a little rain we arrived in Denver just in time to visit the Rocky Mountain National Park.

These are pictures of Bandit and Cowboy's new friend. His name is Chester, and he is also a Golden Retriever like Bandit is. Chester is coming to visit Bandit and Cowboy while his humans are away for a few weeks. Chester got to swim with Bandit and Cowboy. Chester dives underwater to get his toys. Bandit and Cowboy were not sure what to do about that.

Rocky Mountain National Park is full of mountains, streams, and even has snow in the mountain peaks on the 4th of July.
So after a great visit to Rocky Mountain National Park, we headed north to The Last Bast Cabin near Livingston, Montana, which is just 35 miles north of the gates to Yellowstone National Park. Cowboy enjoyed the wide open fields and got his chance to play a little bit of frisbee right outside the front door. Bandit liked the coziness of the cabin.

It was kind of a long drive from Denver to Montana, but everybody enjoyed the trip.

Finally, the long drive was worth it to get to see Yellowstone National Park. Here are some pictures of bears.
